Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of all requirements of the Bachelor of Arts in Justice, Ethics & Leadership (BA-JEL) program, graduates will demonstrate the following seven (7) program-level Student Learning Outcomes:
- Apply core principles of justice, ethics, and leadership to complex organizational and societal challenges, demonstrating integrative understanding across all three disciplines.
- Analyze complex ethical dilemmas using multiple philosophical, cultural, and theoretical frameworks, and articulate well-reasoned, evidence-based positions.
- Demonstrate advanced written and oral communication skills appropriate to professional leadership contexts, including persuasive advocacy, policy communication, and scholarly writing.
- Design and implement evidence-based strategies for organizational leadership, institutional change, and social impact, informed by current research and best practices.
- Evaluate governance structures, public policies, and organizational compliance frameworks, and apply this knowledge to real-world leadership and accountability challenges.
- Engage meaningfully and competently with diverse communities, cross-cultural perspectives, and global contexts in the practice of ethical and equitable leadership.
- Conduct original scholarly research using appropriate methodologies, critically evaluate evidence, and present findings in a professional capstone project that demonstrates readiness for graduate-level study or professional practice.
